Guinevere dancing with Assassins of Silence

Guinevere grew up in Grimsby. Her first poem was published when she was fifteen. Since then she has been featured regularly in the small presses including Reach, Earth Love and Eastern Rainbow. Guinevere trained as a nurse at Charing Cross Hospital, writing poetry throughout. After qualifying, and working as a nurse in London she went to University to further her interest and skill in poetry and the performing arts. In 2002 she graduated with a First Class Honours BA degree from Manchester Metropolitan University in Drama, Live Arts and Creative Writing.

After a spell of University aftershock, Guinevere moved to Pembrokeshire where she returned to nursing until chronic back pain forced her to leave. She then started to turn her hobby of belly dancing into a physical therapy – which took off as her new career. She now runs belly dance classes, residential courses and performs regularly.
