Energize

Under the strap line "maximise locally - develop globally" PBI ran the innovative Energize programme. Energize aimed to provide industry specific support to local SMEs in the supply chain for the energy sector and in particular the oil and gas related industries.

Following programme approval in mid 2004 actual programme activities commenced in November 2004 and continued until 2^nd quarter 2008 when approved funding came to an end.

As part of the Energize programme a major research project was undertaken to provide market information for future reference by client companies. The Market Information Document was launched in March 2008 and contains a detailed overview of industry sectors, comprising UK & Ireland refining, UK tank storage terminals, petroleum pipelines, Bio-fuels, power stations and LNG terminal developments. This report is available vis the Energize website which also provides direct access to information about client companies via the directory page and to other useful fact sheets.

Whilst the specific support available to businesses through Energize has now finished, advice and assitance with financial planning, marketing and other areas can still be accessed via PBI's core services.
