Christmas Market planned for vacant Woolworth store, Milford Haven.
Date: Monday 5th October 2009
Members of Milford Haven Business Circle are planning a Christmas market in the vacant Woolworths store on Charles Street in Milford Haven. Negotiations are underway with the letting agents of the building who are willing for it to be used and some financial support has already been pledged from local traders and the Federation of Small Business. The organizers are keen to hear from local food producers and craft makers, anyone who is interested in trading or exhibiting at the market.
It is anticipated that the market will run over the four weeks leading up to Christmas and organizers are happy to match traders who are unable to commit to the full four weeks, so stalls will be available from 1 week to 4 weeks. The cost for a week will be no more that £100 and hopefully less.
The market will take place within the Woolworth store and electricity will be provided. Organisers are negotiating to supply stands similar to those used by the Farmers markets. They are also keen to hear from community groups and entertainers who can offer other attractions for visitors especially children.
If you are interested in taking space at the market or may know someone who is please contact Viv Phillips, Chair of Milford Haven Business Circle on 01646 694461 or call PLANED.
